ROSA DE JONG – AMAZING TINY HOUSES IN TEST TUBES

ROSA DE JONG 1/3 – She was born in Amsterdam in 1987. After studying for commercial art direction and working for one or two agencies, she started working as a freelance art designer and animator in Amsterdam. Her personal goal is to tell the real story of the brand and set it apart from the crowd, making every piece of communication authentic and personal.

ROSA DE JONG 2/3 – Her latest project, Micro Matter, where she created towering houses and tall buildings, but also other all handmade natural objects  inside the narrow confines of large glass test tubes is absolutely special. Putting art and especially New York skyscrapers into something 20 times smaller than a bottle sounds almost impossible to achieve. Some pieces even play with gravity and appear to grow both upward and downward.

ROSA DE JONG 3/3 – Statement: „Designing can be intense. The more experience I have, the more respect I have for other people’s creativity. It’s so much easier criticizing something that somebody else already did than making something from scratch“. (www.byrosa.nl)
