Timothy Winton is an Australian novelist that was born in Karrinyup (Western Australia) but that he moved to the regional city of Albany at age of 12. He wrote his first novel in 1981, launching his writing career, but it wasn’t until “Cloudstreet” was published that his writing career was properly established.
