SPANISH CONTEMPORARY POETRY: Ángel Guinda, Avid Life

DONNA.1.1Tu boca vertical me escupió oblicuo
y no ha dejado tu sangre de rodar;
más que en la mesa, al volcarse una botella,
su dentro se derrama.
Y esa sangre no puede coagular
sino en mi pecho,
en esa bomba músculo que llaman corazón
y yo taberna.
Bebo mosto de alumbramiento,
negro alcohol espejo de tu ausencia.
Llevo toda la vida
bebiendo hijo sin fermentar,
masticando la madre de mi vino.
Toda la vida borracho de soledad
tragando muerte.”

ANGEL.1Your Vertical oblique mouth spit me
and has not stopped rolling your blood;
rather than on the table, roll a bottle,
your inside spills.
And that blood can not clot
but in my chest,
pump in that heart muscle called
and tavern.
Bebo wort delivery,
alcohol black mirror your absence.
Wear life
child drinking unfermented
chewing the mother of my wine.
Drunk lifetime of loneliness
swallowing death.”
