In Belgium, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts are open to all. Their goal is to make your visit pleasant. In collaboration with Brasserie de la Senne, the Magritte Museum https://www.fine-arts-museum.be/en has created a surrealist beer, in which the features have been created to bring out the spirit of René Magritte’s painting. Here, since his death in 1967, he has not ceased to be alive, because the exhibition of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts focused on him.
René Magritte’s work https://www.fine-arts-museum.be/fr/la-collection/artist/magritte-rene-1?string=magritte is an important reference for those, who intend to reflect on the practice of producing images, or on the representation of reality. The exhibition of the works of this painter brings together several artists, who have talked with him about these themes.
From September 2017, this special beer will be available at the Museum Café https://www.fine-arts-museum.be/en/visit/at-the-museums/museum-restaurant-and-museum-cafe and shops of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Belgium. The Museum Café – Rue de la Régence / Regentschapsstraat 3, 1000 Brussels – open from Tuesdays to Fridays (from 10:00 to 17:00) and in the weekends from 11:00 to 17:30.
