Born in 1971 and raised in Newcastle (New South Wales), Trent Parke https://www.facebook.com/Trent-Parke-140290992674014/ used his mother’s Pentax Spotmatic, beginning taking pictures when he was 12 years old. He am forever chasing light that turns the ordinary into the magical. Demonstrating techniques and approaches he uses in his photographic storytelling, he leads online course by Magnum Photos. Today, he works primarily as a street photographer.

In 2003, Trent Parke https://in-public.com/photographers/trent-parke/ drove 56,000 miles (90,000 km) around Australia, realizing his Minutes to Midnight (the collection of photographs from this journey), that you offers a portrait of twenty-first century Australia. For this project, he was awarded the W. Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography.

He has been awarded five Gold Lenses from the International Olympic Committee, and was also selected to be part of the World Press Photo Masterclass in 1999. From the desiccated outback to remote Aboriginal towns, Trent Parke https://www.magnumphotos.com/photographer/trent-parke/ self-published his first two books (Dream/Life and The Seventh Wave), and both made the top two in the book category at the Picture of the Year International.
