DAVID YORKE 2/3 – Coming from a family of artists helped him with the encouragement and motivation to develop his creative interests. His pictorial style for portraits and landscapes, has developed on his career as a commercial illustrator. He had decided for a long-term career as a full-time painter. His style of figurative painting involves the interpretation of some photographic references, which he skillfully staged with native Americans and his friends, using them as models dressed in vintage clothes. He continues to travel across the American West, photographing wildlife and landscapes, which he uses as creative references for his art.
