PAINTING CHINA’S SENSUAL SILK CLOTHS – Liu Yuanshou, Chinese realist painter

1post.1LIU YUANSHOU 1/3 – He was born in Beijing in 1967. Liu Yuanshou, Chinese Realist painter, has become fascinated by the seductively temperate cultural and physical climate of the eastern coastal province of Jiangsu. A dark sultriness permeates the scene, as if each young women has been engaged inside a little transcendental shell. 5post.2LIU YUANSHOU 2/3 – He earned a degree in oil painting from the Capital Normal University of Beijing, and has exhibited in and won awards in many exhibitions throughout Asia. His paintings are dominated with striking emotions in Chinese red theme. Silk is especially evident in Liu’s art, which primarily focuses on portraits of young women from the Jiangsu region. 10post.3LIU YUANSHOU 3/3 – In silkworm, its raven-haired woman always swathed in a loose brilliant vermilion swag. As you can see, painting China’s sensual and mysterious silk cloths, each of its woman, resembles a precious silkworm, always encased in its soft cocoon.
