She is the niece of former Chilean president Salvador Allende. Isabel Allende is a Chilean author best known for penning novels in the style of magical realism. She born on August day, in 1942, in Peru. Her best-known works, are written in the style of magic realism, which uses fantasy and myth to override time and place.
