ALEX ALEMANY 1/4 – Since he was a little child, he was always drawing and painting, and his activity was as natural for he as breathing, as it was for other children to play football. He was born on January day in Spain, and studied Fine Arts between at the “Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos”. He traveled to Paris to expand studies, increased his studies in London at the National Portrait Gallery.Until 1970.
ALEX ALEMANY 2/4 – He have always wanted to create art. Its major influence is literature (in particular, Gabriel Garcia Marquez works). Painting, he was inspired by human feelings. He embraced several avant-garde trends, with his sensitive poetic touch. He painted the first works which reverted to realism, known as “Magic realism”.
ALEX ALEMANY 3/4 – For him, the Surrealism is nothing else than the acceptance of the subconscious, as an essential part of the human being. Exploring his own sensations, inside his painting, you can find its oneiric world. Through his work, you can find many portraits showing us his love for the human figure. Inside its portrait, you can observe not only the physical aspect of the human being, but also the the psychological profile.
ALEX ALEMANY 4/4 – Its personal advice (if you like painting), should be to paint always from nature. Its painting way (Realism and Hyperrealism), it is a long journey inside realistic still life paintings, like a link, between literary and pictorial creativity. You can feel – looking its works – emotionally rich paintings, where each one portrays sugest strong feelings.
