HARDLY ANYTHING, BY FRANCIS CABREL: When poetry feel into musical notes

2.1So here is all I am good at some wind blowing through bamboo chests, pieces of sky to be put on your eyelids and some more hung to your neck. It’s nothing but usual sky, some blue you can see everywhere, still I have put all my craft into it, on top of our whole story.3.1 You see, it’s hardly anything it’s so little, It’s like glass, hardly better. You see, it’s hardly anything… It’s like a dream, like a game. Some thoughts caught in beads of clear water. I send you whole days with cats on your lap, walls covered with your favorite flowers and, above all, some light. Nothing but light melodies, a spring between two rocks, white linen over your warring years, that is all I am good at, that is all…You see, it’s hardly anything, it’s so little, it’s like glass, hardly better. You see, it’s hardly anything… It’s like a dream, like a game. Some thoughts caught in beads of clear water.”lui.1
