OLEG SHUPLYAK (Ukraine) – The artist is well known for placing a second image behind the characters, objects, coloring, and objects of the first image. Although he creates all kinds of beautiful paintings, it was his talent of transforming his works of art into optical illusions that really caught the eye. Objects and characters in his paintings are aligned perfectly in such a way they create outstanding illusions that are easily spotted. In addition his works convey a very philosophical message and includes many symbols.

THOMAS BARBEY (US) – His work has a specific style and is very characteristic. He only works with Black and White. Every image is the combination of at least two or more negatives that give birth to a completely unusual vision. Barbey explains, “The montages are created by carefully choosing printing procedures, such as combination printing; sandwiching negatives together, thereby printing them simultaneously; pre-planned double exposure in the camera; the re-photographing of collaged photographs; or a combination of the above.” Thomas exhibits in galleries throughout the world and is included in many private collections.
