I did not kill my husband is a satirical novel first-rate, sharp and ironic. She is married and is expecting her second child. In China, this is not a pleasant news, because the one-child law would make them two criminals. The only way is to get divorced before the birth of the child (as soon as the child will be recorded to the registry, they will get married again. After the divorce, her ex-husband marries another woman, but his ex-wife explains to a judge how things are.
