THREE STORIES OF SERIAL KILLER TO BE FEAR

In literature, the yellow kind is divided into sub-genres: crime and espionage, noir, and thriller. Since the holidays are upon us, there is nothing better than to look for a good book (for yourself, or for someone dear to you). The advice is to read a good thriller, a genre of fiction developed in the twentieth century. The main object of this literary genre is the description of the characters (be they criminals or victims), involved in a crime.

Born in the background of American cities affected by the violence of the gangsters and the Mafia in the period between the two world wars, the thriller is related to the movies. In the detective genre, the plot develops after the discovery of a crime (and as the conclusion of the guilty revelation), but in the thriller the reader directly assisting the preparation and execution of the crime, suffering, in a climate of growing tension, a strong emotional involvement.

DUST – Patricia Cornwell

Scarpetta has finally returned to her home in Cambridge, after the last difficult case, when it receives a call from her old business partner, Pete Marino, who informs her that the body of a young woman was found on the baseball field Massachusetts Institute of Technology. THE LOVELY BONES – Alice Sebold

George Harvey is the neighbor, the kind that avoids eye contact and conversations. Yet he raped and killed so many young girls as Susie Salmon. What he has done to their bodies (Susie was dismembered and stuffed into a cellar) deposit box did not prevent them to really find a peaceful rest in the afterlife. In this book, which has sold millions of copies, Alice Sebold tells a terrible story, but mainly tells how Susie, from his heaven, will help everyone, readers first, to reconcile with the pain of the world. https://www.amazon.com/Lovely-Bones-Alice-Sebold/dp/0316168815/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1478862502&sr=1-1&keywords=THE+LOVELY+BONES+%E2%80%93+Alice+Sebold
