THE SURREALISTIC WORLD OF JOSE

JOSE DE LA BARRA 1/4 – He was born in a August day in Peru. He attended the Fine Arts Autonomous Superior School in Lima, Peru, where he studied Painting, Ilustration, and Murals. He has created a dream-like world through his expressing the internal and external fantasies of his imagination with his precise talents in painting and drawing. JOSE DE LA BARRA 2/4 – Its main issues is to create representations of human figures in a fantastic and romantic, and allegorical. Its artistic work is based on the human figure, where expressions and sensual movements that appear in each piece, create mystic allegorias. JOSE DE LA BARRA 3/4 – He has engendered a language that explains the human condition through special method. He considers himself a Surrealist. He developed a special figurative style, that was well received and noted for its innovation. JOSE DE LA BARRA 4/4 – His reputation has sent his work all over Europe and North America, where he is recognized as one of the most innovative artists of his generation.
