A CASKET – Poetry, by Rabindranath Tagore

A CASKET

scrigno1.1I’ll make my soul a casket for your soul, my heart skipped a dwelling for your beauty, my chest Tomb to your sorrows. I’ll love you as the grasslands like spring, and you’ll live the life of a flower under the rays of the Sun. Sing your name as the Valley sings the echo of bells; listen to the language of your soul as the beach listening to the story of the waves.

(Rabindranath Tagore)
