Beautiful location, right in the Oslofjord, surrounded by hills that are about to become green again. Welcome to Oslo, the city where I live. Certainly you are not interested in what you can find in any tourist guide, for this I invite you to take note of our itinerary today, beginning with Karl Johansgate the most important street of the city. After the Stortorget (the largest market), we arrive at a square (if you want, we can get to see Cathedral, our evangelical cathedral). At the end of the road we will arrive in the largest city park – the Slott Parken – with the Royal Palace and Historisk Museum (with a beautiful treasure room). I’d suggest you do not visit the Nasjonalgalleriet (you can go alone, when you want, do not forget to see the paintings of Munch), because I would bring all your interest in Akershus Festning (fortress, with a superb panorama).
In the afternoon, we move to Frognerparken (the most beautiful park in Scandinavia), where – probably – you do a lot of photos, because the 150 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland are a journey in life. We end our tour of the city in Vikingskipene (our MSEO folklore), where you can see ancient boats Viking (Oseberg, Gokstad and Tune). http://www.visitoslo.com/en/tourist-information-centres/
Our dinner? At Vaertshuset Bærums Verk, a restaurant with dishes Norwegian, which I hope will be to your liking. http://www.visitoslo.com/en/restaurants-nightlife/restaurants/?TLp=15730&Vartshuset-Barums-Verk
