LANDSCAPES OF THE SOUL: A poem from “Cuando todo calla”, by Hugo Mujica

2.12.1Wind and clouds rolled; breeze and white are transfigured. There are echoes that are not words of encouragement are not repeated to us, we summon hear what calls us to be said. There is a crack in the floor slit, a tear where each word is silent, silence where everything created; is what the say is breath without sound, is where we heard every word revealed. When late in the distance is that the inside is already out; you have reached the soul, anyone that hole in each opens all. Among the possible cracks spring and poems speak; between the cracks, own, man stands his life, gives birth to her soul. No hills and groves wind calm fly wide valley. Vaster than wait for something is not naming the wait: that not knowing what comes, that let us name. At the end there will be no end will be delivering: that leap without shore from where I give, the jump off since once we arrived, the delivery for which we were emptying.”
