For four years, he taught music in the San José school. He was two years old when he was given his first guitar on the pier of the port of Pinasco, a toy guitar, with which he liked to accompany himself singing melodies. His first name was a tribute to his paternal grandfather and the second to his mother. Félix Roberto Galeano Mieres, Maneco Galeano stage name, was born Puerto Pinasco (Paraguay) on a day in May 1945.
In 1948, his family settled in Asunción, where Maneco Galeano began to study with exceptional qualifications. In 1962, with his family he moved to Buenos Aires, where he formed an orchestral group with other young people. Back home, he did not finish his university studies, preferring to continue his journey as a music composer. When the ABC Color newspaper was founded, a friend of his invited him to be part of the staff, holding the position of head of the Sport section and secretary of the editorial staff. He died in Asunción, on a day in December 1980.
