The people on this list are from different countries, but what they all have in common is that they’re all renowned cartoonists. Alan Moore is an English writer primarily known for his work in comic books including Watchmen, V for Vendetta, and From Hell. Georges Prosper Remi, known by the pen name Hergé, was a Belgian cartoonist. He is best known for The Adventures of Tintin. Daniel Charles Piraro is a painter, illustrator and cartoonist best known for his award-winning cartoon Bizarro. Piraro’s cartoons have been reprinted in 16 book collections.
Theodor Seuss Geisel was an American writer and cartoonist. He was most widely known for his children’s books, which he wrote and illustrated under the pseudonym Dr. Seuss. Andrea Pazienza, in his artistic activity as a painter, creating 150 paintings (especially markers on paper). His early works were very elaborate. In his multifaceted expressive universe, the design was the basic aspect, a gift of nature that can generate paintings and comic books.
