Two thousand years ago, Tindari was a rich city, and archaeological excavations have brought to light even a special theater. Sitting on those steps, along with other 3 thousand spectators, in front of a panorama you will not forget, the Tindari theater gives you a landscape that embraces the Tyrrhenian Sea, with views of the Aeolian islands, the Sicilian coast and on the Calabrian. In that theater, until August 27, you can attend numerous representations (Miles Gloriosus Plautus, Sophocles’ Oedipus the King, the Iliad and The Trojan Women Seneca).
