E-23 OLVERA STREET, FOLLOWING THE SMELL – Los Angeles and Cielito Lindo Restaurant: not many tables, but excellent taquitos

When your geographical horizon extends – for business or pleasure – you have the wonderful opportunity to hear you inside, like the perfectly proportioned man (created by Leonardo da Vinci), correlating the symmetry of human anatomy to the symmetry of the universe. What you see, hear, eat and feel, it’s all inside the Vitruvian approach to life. Welcome in Los Angeles. Following the smell of taquitos muy auténticos, you can arrive at the end of Olvera Street, where you find the Cielito Lindo Restaurant (the tiny stand has been serving freshly stuffed, rolled and fried taquitos.

The Cielito Lindo menu is simple and mainly focused on their signature shredded beef taquitos. The thing to order is obviously taquitos, though there are also burritos and chile relleno, which come smothered in guacamole sauce and optional beans and cheese. After eating there, you can understand how many the smell can be precious. The tortillas are made with wholesome ingredients without the use of preservatives, the service was quick and reasonably priced. Restaurant does not have many tables in the main section, so you can sat in the separate overflow seating area. And remember: taquitos are cooked and served hot right in front of you.
