WHAT YOU SEE, HEAR, EAT AND FEEL – Flavors of Stuttgart

Choosing the restaurant (we will recommend the restaurant Alte Kanzlei, Schillerpl. 5), it is important to remember that you have the ability to add special travel experiences, all linked to the history of the places you are visiting. Sitting in your restaurant in Stuttgart, you should not ask to eat a “pretzel”, because the bread smeared with butter (by special flavor), it is sold in bakeries, to be eaten while walking. The advice is to ask a typical national dish, “Gaisburger Marsch” (a soup spaetzle, potato pieces, diced beef, vegetables, meat broth and roasted onions), or a “Linsen mit Saiten” (lentils with warm sausages, long and narrow, often accompanied by spaetzle).

Your sweet to remember? A “Zwiebelkuchen” (cake dough, stuffed with onions, steamed, eggs, sour cream, diced bacon and caraway seeds). Straddling the end of September and beginning of October, you will experience the “Cannstatter Volksfest”, along with the four million people who flock to enjoy German beers and listen to live music played in the many stand, tasting the recipes of the local cuisine. What you see, hear, eat and feel, it’s all inside Meeting Benches way: the Vitruvian approach to life.
