FIVE SHADES OF FRENCH ATMOSPHERE: Narrow streets, romantic medieval villages and beautiful promenades

SAINT PAUL DE VENCE > Narrow streets, steep staircases, squares and fountains. A romantic medieval village built on a rock to escape the invasions of the Saracens, a precious pearl near Nice. Full of art galleries and craft shops, the village is full of artists, artisans and painters. You can go to the museum Maeght, to admire Chagall, Matisse and Miro. Do not forget (possibly in the evening), dinner at one of the restaurants of Saint Paul de Vence.

CARCASSONNE > We are in the region of Languedoc-Roussillon, and what you see is the Cité (the upper part of the city), a World Heritage Site. If you want, you can get caught by the suggestions of his castle, which will tell the stories of a world that seems still alive. That is the Basilica of Saint-Nazaire, but do not forget to stop at Port Narbonne.

SAINT MALO > This is the place where the tides play, this place was a den of pirates. Saint Malo, in Brittany, is a place that gives you two things: extraordinary beauty and a history full of events. Museums, historic buildings and churches, a promenade, do not forget this nuance of France.

GORDES > Want to breathe the unmistakable scent of lavender? Well, this is the place. This is one of the most beautiful villages of France, over an incredible rock spur. Its stone houses, it seems that they want to embrace you. Do not forget to visit the Abbey of Senanque, surrounded by lavender.

COLLONGES LA ROUGE > An enchanting village, but you’re at an amusement park, and even in a storybook. This tiny town is located in the Limousin region. Built of red sandstone and gray slate roofs, this village is a gem that you absolutely must. You better get to the sunset, to admire all shades of pink and red.
